Special Friends and Family Issues
You know who you are.

Dear Friends,

I know I haven't written in over two months, but all is well. I'm just burned out on writing for now. I mentioned in my last Grace Letter that it might be the last one for now. After sixteen years I think I've said what I have to say. I was in my forties when I started this web site, and I'm over sixty now. The younger writers like to blog about their daily activities, and that's fine, but I am just so busy with work and with my service commitments to GLMA and the AMA, there's not enough time.

I will still maintain current the therapists list and the birth certificate information. Otherwise, I promise to update if anything major occurs. Until then, the site will remain intact. Thank you so much for your visits and your friendship.

I feel like "Calvin" in the final strip of "Calvin and Hobbes." There's a great wonderful world outside, beyond the newspaper or the computer screen. Let's go out and enjoy it while we can.

Love to all,

Becky

BUD BOY!

When they came for the Communists, I did not stand up, because I was not a Communist. When they came for the Jews, I did not stand up, because I was not Jewish. When they came for the Catholics, I did not stand up, because I was not a Catholic. When they came for me, there was no one left to stand up.

If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end: If you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth - only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin with and, in the end, despair.

And once we have the condition of peace and joy in us, we can afford to be in any situation. Even in the situation of hell, we will be able to contribute our peace and serenity. The most important thing is for each of us to have some freedom in our heart, some stability in our heart, some peace in our heart. Only then will we be able to relieve the suffering around us.

Thich Nhat Hanh
